Alessandro Santopaolo is a PhD Student Fellow at the Human-Robot Interfaces and Physical Interaction Lab (HRII), Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT). He received his Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Naples Federico II in 2017 and his Master's Degree in Control Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome in 2020, with honors. He worked as control engineer for Wandercraft in Paris, a startup that builds exoskeletons.  His main research interests include human-robot interaction, artificial intelligence, robot control, and learning.
