Alberto Giammarino

Alberto Giammarino is a PhD Student Fellow at the Human-Robot Interfaces and physical Interaction Lab (HRII), Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT). He received his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bologna in 2018 and his Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a major in Mechatronics and Robotics from Politecnico di Milano in 2021, both with honours. He spent half of his MSc at ETH Zurich where he carried out his Master's thesis in the Robotic Systems Lab (RSL), working on physical human-robot interaction (pHRI) and teleoperation using a quadrupedal mobile manipulator. His research is currently focused on interaction control strategies for pHRI.
